Start with a central nail and then hammer in the rest of the nails, spaced evenly, all around the edge of the design. Repeat this on the inner part of the design. Remember to hammer them in as evenly as you can! Next, tie some string to the first nail and start weaving it in and around the two rows of nails, forming a pattern.
