When someone is looking to buy an apartment they tend to stay away from small places. It’s difficult to work with a small space but still, there are lots of small apartments that have wonderful interior designs. This one is a perfect example. It’s an apartment that measures only 3 square meters but that has a very elegant and open design.
Located in Gdansk, Poland, the apartment has a modern look. It’s small so it’s suitable for either a single person or a couple. It has a cozy and inviting feel and an elegant décor. The color palette is very beautiful and includes warm and earthy shades of brown combined with golden accents, beige and white.
The interior was designed by Helena Michel and Adam Michel of Michel Design Studio who worked in collaboration with carpenter Konrad Ordecki and developer RAI Przedsiebiorstwo Budowlane. They chose a contemporary style and wanted to create a simple, functional and elegant design.
As you enter, you can see a translucent partition wall and hides the rooms. The living area is an open space and it includes the kitchen, a dining space and the living zone. The apartment has customized furniture throughout that includes the kitchen cabinets, the furniture from the living area as well as the bathroom features. This shows the great care that was offered to this project. It’s a wonderful idea to use customized furniture in a small space because you can take advantage of the available area better and you can exploit it to a maximum.
