Every time you want to relax or have fun with your friends in a public place, you have several options you must consider before choosing the final location. Décor, comfort and music are equally important if you want to forget about work and daily stress.

Sometimes we just want to drink a coffee in a totally different environment, a place that would rip us away from reality. So thumbs up for 6th Sense designers, because they’ve proved their talent by creating a pub that defies the laws of time. Ladies and gentlemen, sci-fi lovers and admirers of the English Victorian era, welcome to Joben Bistro (in English: Top-Hat Bistro).

The pub was recently opened in Cluj Napoca, Romania. In terms of design, steampunk style is the perfect combination between industrial design and antique furniture. The items used to decorate this fabulous place remind us of the Victorian era and the inventions back then.

Let’s have a short virtual walk and discover the beauty of this place. Because the name of the pub was established from the beginning, designers have decided to give it a meaning by creating illuminating installations out of improvised top-hats.

The pub has three different designed rooms. Given the fact that the structure of this pub is made of concrete, the cold atmosphere is reduced by the bricks in the first room. Also, wooden perches provide a warm feeling and are in perfect harmony with the metal gears.

The bar is in the second room. There you can admire three impressive works of art that contribute decisively in defining the predominant style of this place. The lighting is adjustable, in order to create a special ambience. They used color changing LED strips, so let’s say here you will see the world in different colors. Oh, and a huge iron mask will keep you company. The third room is called “the black room”. Joben Bistro has a motto: hats off! This is also our opinion about this place.
