In the early 1990s the area to the South-East of Kyiv in Ukraine used to be a village with beautiful lush meadows which evolved in time to be covered in concrete. With the help of YoDezeen Studio a bit bit of that beauty was brought back in the form of an amazing new restaurant and bar: the Par Bar 3. The project was completed in 2020 and the inspiration behind the design was the history of this location.

The Par Bar restaurant has a very welcoming interior with a warm and inviting ambiance

The team wanted to infuse it with greenery and to make nature a part of it. They manage to make that happen in a wonderful way. The bar covers an area of 491 square meters in total and is all on a single level. It’s divided into main zones, one being the main area and the other being a terrace. They’re divided by a stylish wine cabinet which doubles as a partition.

To enter this place once opens a large and imposing metal door with a natural stone handle. They then go through a corridor with lots of greenery and a few rusty metal accents on it and reach the main area which has two bars, one of which is dedicated to preparing Asian dishes. The bar counters are made from Bidasar Green natural stone and the fronts are made of wood. Speaking of which, natural wood plays a very important role in the interior design of this place as a whole. It’s the main material used for just about everything including the large decorative beams that go across the high ceilings. The lighting inside is subtle and strategically oriented so it puts an emphasis on the plants. The atmosphere inside is sophisticated but at the same extremely welcoming and comfortable.
